Done exclusively for the Canadian market, The Gunwerks Limited Edition Spiral Black Package configuration is designed for those who demand the very best, not just in their rifle but in their entire shooting system. Available in our most popular long range caliber, the 7mm Remington Magnum, this incredible set-up delivers a premium shooting experience that delivers first round accuracy at a kilometer and beyond. Following up on the popularity of our Back in Black package this package is limited to a very narrow production run of 3 rifles that feature a unique spiral fluting configuration on the barrel.

The LR-1000 rifle in the Spiral Black package has been optimized for the Canadian mountain hunter. By replacing steel bottom metal and components with aluminum and fluting the barrel, rifle weight is reduced by a full half-pound. A muzzle brake and thread protector are included to reduce recoil allowing for visible hits and easier follow up. When it comes to shooting in the field the this package delivers unsurpassed stability thanks to the included top of the line Atlas bipod with a quick detach mounting system. Finished in a black stock with black cera-kote finish on the barrel and action the Gunwerks Spiral Black Package comes completely set up, barrel break-in is completed at the factory as is accuracy testing, scope mounting, ballistic profiling and calibration of a custom ballistic turret. The system is designed to provide first shot accuracy right out of the box.

Every detail of this shooting system has been thoughtfully designed from the ground up. The LR-1000 rifle system provides the foundation while the 5.5-22x50 G7 Riflescope built by Nightforce ensures precision targeting and accurate adjustments that provide the confidence required for those very long shots. Scopes are mounted and calibrated with a custom ballistic turret. When paired with the G7 ballistic rangefinder the performance of this package can be further maximized by providing accurate compensation for any variation in temperature, altitude, and angle to the target. Taking the out of the box experience to the next level the Gunwerks Spiral Black Package also provides everything you need to to care for and transport this incredible system. A Gunwerks IRC rifle case with custom foam to house the rifle, bolt, bipod, and the included cleaning kit is also provided.

The LR action series is precisely machined on CNC equipment from heat treated, ordinance grade barrel steel. Bolts are machined from a single billet of stainless steel, then coated with an extremely hard, high performance coating called Armaloy to prevent galling. Even the scope rings are pinned to eliminate any possibility of point of impact shift. Barrels are heat stress relieved three times in the manufacturing process. They feature a 5C or canted land configuration and are hand lapped to a bore variation tolerance of 0.0001 of an inch. Chamber work and barrel threading is completed on a very precise Haas TL2 CNC lathe. The stock has molded color and texture built into the stock—it cannot wear off and will look as-new after a lifetime of service. The NIC Industries, Cerakote finish is the industry standard for durability and good looks, all metal parts use this coating to prevent corrosion, simplify cleaning, and minimize lubrication requirements.
