| E-Commerce Sales Specialists – Kelowna, BC |

E-Commerce Sales Specialists are the point of contact for online customers to ensure they are engaged and assisted in a manner that is consistent with the company’s mission and values. Through exceptional service, each E-Commerce Sales Specialist is expected to explore customer needs, capture sales opportunities, and ensure business targets are achieved.
Successful candidates will be expected to: - Assist our online customers and create sales opportunities from inbound calls and emails while upholding the company’s superior service level through effective customer engagement
- Achieve sales objectives using a solution based sales approach
- Effectively communicate via email, telephone, and web chat to uncover and close sales

| Graphic Design & Marketing Coordinator – Kelowna, BC |

The Graphic Design & Marketing Coordinator position exists to align the company’s vision, marketing and branding into all public forums. By coordinating our graphic design, exploring the elements that speak to Grouse River’s culture, vision and mission and assisting in the coordination of the company’s marketing and promotional opportunities, the role seeks to enhance the company’s branding and ensure consistency and presence across various platforms.
Successful candidates will be expected to: - Plan, coordinate and develop advertising materials, including print, flyers, radio and web advertising in various markets
- Evaluate and coordinate consistent branding throughout all marketing materials, including business cards, brochures, in-store promotional materials and store signage
- Create content and various graphic elements for web and social media use
- Assist in the planning, creation and final editing of TV/Video and original photography for company use across various mediums and platforms
- Coordinate and design customer and employee newsletters
- Explore and plan appropriate sponsorship and charitable opportunities
- Aid in the execution of strategic marketing and advertising initiatives
- Assist in the design and creation of private label merchandise and packaging including clothing, accessories, hats and various industry products
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience: - Post-secondary Education in Graphic Design
- 3+ years’ experience with Graphic Design work
- Excellent knowledge and skill with Adobe Creative Suite, Desktop publishing tools and Microsoft office suite
- Proficiency with photography, videography, photo and video editing software and flash animation, a definite asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively

| Human Resources Coordinator – Kelowna, BC |

The Human Resources Coordinator position provides support to the Human Resources function in the areas of Recruiting, Payroll and Benefits Administration, general HR support and employee engagement. This position is best suited to candidates that excel in a fast-paced environment, enjoy challenges, are results-driven and would naturally contribute to the inspiring and positive work environment at Grouse River.
Successful candidates will be expected to: - Support the recruiting function by advertising job postings, screening resumes, completing initial phone interviews, completing reference checks, and preparing job offer documentation as directed by Human Resources Manager
- Complete all responsibilities related to Payroll Administration for a semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried staff, using an automated payroll system
- Complete all responsibilities related to Benefits Administration
- Provide general HR administration support and assist with HR projects and reporting, as required
- Coordinate recognition for birthdays and anniversaries; manage health and wellness programs
- In conjunction with Human Resources Manager, organize staff events
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience: - Min 2 years of experience in a similar role (including payroll administration)
- Must have experience with automated payroll processing systems
- Post- secondary education in HR or a related field
- Ability to manage competing priorities and able to manage time effectively
- Strong user of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Retail Sales Specialists are a primary point of contact for retail customers to ensure they are engaged and assisted in a manner that is consistent with the company’s mission and values. Through exceptional service, each Retail Sales Specialist is expected to explore customer requirements and capture sales opportunities while contributing to the store’s positive atmosphere and appearance.
We are looking for full-time and part-time Retail Sales Specialists for the following departments: - Customer Service
- Footwear
- Camping Equipment
- Outerwear
- Optics and GPS
- Hunting and Shooting
Successful candidates will be expected to: - Assist with the attainment of retail sales objectives through ownership of the customer experience and sales process
- Achieve sales objectives using a solution based sales approach
- Acquire and maintain up to date product and industry knowledge
- Provide first-class customer service, before, during, and after the sale
- Uphold Grouse River’s Core Values of service, passion and integrity
- Merchandise and maintain the retail environment
***Retail positions require flexibility for scheduling. Full-time positions require availability to work both weekdays and weekends.

| Shipping & Receiving Assistant – Kelowna, BC |

The Shipping and Receiving Assistant is responsible for the reception, distribution and allocation of all inventories, including the organization and logistics associated with product warehousing. This position places an emphasis on upholding and enhancing the customer experience by maximizing inventory efficiency.
Successful candidates will be expected to: - Accurately receive and allocate all products to their appropriate location within established timelines
- Generate clearance, PO and in-stock reports
- Ensure all outbound packages reach their intended destination in a manner that ensures the complete satisfaction of the recipient
- Maintain a high level of communication with, and coordinate activities between, sales and customer service reps to ensure all customer orders and customer warranty issues can be completed within established timelines
- Minimize inventory related errors by maintaining the warehouse area in a manner that is conducive to space maximization, as well as product identification and allocation. This includes the labelling of products as well as organization of all pending orders and in-store pick-up orders.
Ideal candidates possess the following qualifications and experience: - 1 year experience in warehousing or stock clerical work
- High School Diploma
- Basic mathematical skills
- Valid Restricted Firearms Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) Required
- Strong organization skills
- The ability to lift moderate to heavy products on a regular basis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Above average attention to detail
- Product knowledge is an asset
- A passion for outdoor pursuits is a definite asset
